Scholarship Program
The Thomas-Young Scholarship Fund, established in 1982 and chartered as a non-profit organization in 1985, was named in memory of the organizers of the chapter and memorializes all its deceased members. The fund provides resources and annual scholarships to graduates of District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) who demonstrate a significant need.
Eligibility Requirements:
DCPS high school senior
Resident of the District of Columbia
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
3.0 Grade Point Average or Above
Substantial Financial Need based on the FAFSA
Scholarship Award:
Students with a continuous full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic performance will receive $2,500 a year over a period of 4 years.
